Happy New Year! We hope you had a good winter break.Â
The Langara Accounting Club is currently recruiting volunteers for LAC's 2024 CVITP Tax Clinic. This event provides free tax filing for Langara students and volunteers are able to gain.Â
Our tax clinic will be held on certain days over a 4 week period starting in the middle of March 2024. The tax clinic will be held in-person in the A Foyer of Langara's campus. You do not need to volunteer at the clinic for the entire 4 weeks, we will schedule your shift based on your provided availability. The registration form will be open until January 20, 2024 at 11:59pm.Â
An email with additional details and instructions will be sent after the registration form closes. Please note that tax filing volunteers are required to submit a police record check to be eligible for this position.Â

* If you don't have tax filing experience, this could be students who have taken at least one tax course at Langara College, e.g. FMGT 2325, FMGT 4225, FMGT 4870.
