Abbe provides accounting, tax, estate planning, and other business advisory services to a wide range of owner-managed businesses and their shareholders.

Her clients are varied and include businesses in the service sector, holding companies, and professionals. Abbe also has a significant number of tax clients for whom she prepares personal, trust, and estate returns.

A long-standing member of Manning Elliott's team, Abbe joined our organization over 35 years ago after working as a CPA for a major international accounting firm. Over the years Abbe has developed strong and enduring relationships with her clients, based on open communication and quality service. The exceptional service she provides often leads to her acting as a sounding board to assist clients in making strategic business decisions.

 
Andrea Armitage, CPA, CA Partner, Manning Elliott

Andrea provides accounting, assurance, estate planning, business advisory and tax services to small and medium-sized owner-managed businesses in a wide range of industries and not- for-profit organizations (NPOs).

Clients appreciate Andrea's integrity, professionalism, humor, and easy-going personality.

Andrea is also a long-standing member of Manning Elliott with over seventeen years at the firm. She is very involved in the strategic oversight and direction of various Manning Elliott committees.

 
Sheryne Mecklai, CPA, CA Tax Partner, Manning Elliott

Sheryne is the Tax Service Line Leader, primarily focusing on advisory work including estate planning, corporate reorganizations and business succession planning for Canadian owner-managed business, high net worth clients and international clients in a wide range of industries. She has extensive experience working on engagements such as complex estate plans, cross border transactions, sales and succession of business along with complex Canadian corporate, trust and personal tax compliance.

Sheryne’s clients include local and international clients carrying on business in Canada. Her clients appreciate her honesty and practical solutions to complicated problems.

Sheryne has always had an interest in teaching new tax practitioners and students. She has been involved in the CPA In-Depth Tax Course as a tutor for a number of years and now as a lecturer. Sheryne also teaches various seminars for the CPABC in the professional development program.

Katie Taylor practices in the areas of wills, estates and trusts law, with a particular emphasis on estate planning and administration, as well as corporate/commercial law, with a particular emphasis on advising charities and not-for-profit organizations.

Katie assists clients in a broad range of wills, estates and trusts matters, including drafting wills and administering estates. Katie also advises charities and not-for-profit organizations on a wide variety of corporate and commercial issues, including governance and charitable registration.
